Parenting= Teaching... quick tips for success.

Greetings!
It is very important that we as parents are our children's first teachers. You don't have to quit work and home school or even make grueling schedules that add more pressure to your families existing daily activities. However, what you can do, is find easy, inexpensive ways to incorporate learning in your day. One way is having easy access to learning materials such as blocks, alphabets, art supplies, games, puzzles and worksheets. Don't forget to have "teacher"resources as well. Such as, a white board, chore and behavior charts and a fave in our house a treasure box filled with rewards. In order for home educating to take place you have to switch brain modes from parent to teacher.
I am always on the search for free worksheets and teacher resources. This is one of my faves!
They have great teacher resources like report cards, agendas, and Venn Diagrams.
You can find coloring sheets and worksheets from Pre-K to 6th grade. Remember learning starts in the home so arm yourself with educational tools, and set a good example. Your children are ready and they are watching!
